In Attendance:

Emily Okerlund called meeting to order at 4:10 pm. Kim seconds motion.

Reviewed and approved minutes from the prior meeting.

“Good Vibes”/ Positive feedback from the community: 

• Vex teams had a great competition and the kids are having positive experiences

Welcoming Kim Endicott as staff representative due to the sad, unexpected loss of Dani Franks

Reviewing school wide behavior plan:

• HAWK Report
  • Students and staff responding positively
  • Data is used in student success team
  • Shopping in the school store with their points at the end of the week
  • check-in/ check-out system

Land Trust Goals:

• Acadience reading
  • MOY sitting at 57%, last year MOY was 50%
  • EOY goal is 62%
  • Discussion of adjusting goals for next year-  decided with the shift in students due to boundary changes and no idea what to expect that we should keep the goal the same
• Math
  • No data for MOY yet, hopefully at the next meeting
• SEL
  • MOY data 64% on panorama study
  • Implementing the 2x10 support for student/teacher relationship building
  • Discussed new goal for next year
    • With boundary changes the consensus was a GRIT goal might be beneficial for both current and incoming students-helping the kids to understand that they can do hard things

Next meeting changed from February 26th to March 4th at 4:00.  During this meeting the 2024-2025 goals will be finalized.
