Pick Up/Drop Off

West Haven Elementary   School Safety Guidelines The safety of our students is very important to us! To allow for the maximum amount of students to be dropped  off and picked up in a safe, efficient manner, please follow the drop-off and pick-up procedures.  There are two circular driveways in front of the main entrance. The yellow driveway is for BUSES and DAYCARE  VANS ONLY. Media Policy

Digital Media Device (DMD) including Cell Phone Policy West Haven is committed to making sure that Digital Media Devices such as cell phones, music and gaming devices, etc. do not interfere with our learning environment, safety procedures or infringe on the privacy of others.  In order to do this, the following procedures will apply to the use of a DMD on school property during school hours: Unless approved by the administrator, DMDs should not be seen, heard or used from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.   It is strongly recommended that these devices do not come to school at all. Dress Code Policy

West Haven Elementary Dress Code West Haven students are expected to maintain an appearance that is not detrimental to the educational process of the school or distracting to educational stakeholders.  Below you will find a few guidelines that will help you determine if your student is dressed appropriately for school. Do wear shirts long enough to cover the midriff.
